hot sounds was founded by editor/publisher and promoter joe massaro (age 27, brown hair, brown eyes), a fan and believer of pop rock 'n' roll. the publication seeks to publicize a greater sense of spirit, intellect, and emotion to both music and art that is timeless and deserves further recognition — the stars from the gutters and streets. the focus is to document, archive, and showcase smart, fun, and energetic rock 'n' roll from then to now. this is where the change is.​​​​​​ "Rock 'n' roll is dead and we don't care."​
